Great idea for the giveaway. I’ve been meaning to make it to Tsunami books to pick up a copy after reading about “Eating Close To Home” in the Register Guard recently.

Thanks for making me aware of Eugene Local Foods. I just signed up for CSA for the first time and then wondered about dairy and egg deliveries and Eugene Local Foods is perfect for that.

I am anxiously awaiting some asparagus. I can’t get enough of it in the spring. I bake it (about 350 for 5-10 min.) with some olive oil, salt, pepper, and whatever spices I’m in the mood for. The first time I ate it, I was amazed. That was at the beginning of my journey becoming a foodie. Thanks for the giveaway. Looks like a great book.

We start getting warmer weather in the spring and so I enjoy salads. I go for quick and easy. I usually use bottled salad dressing, lettuce, tomato, ramen noodles, chicken etc.

Hi Amy! Strawberry rhubarb pie or crisp is my favorite spring dish. I just go wild when the berries and red stalks appear at the farmers market.
