Allen Dong (Veneta, OR) grows black beans. Buy his black beans at the consignment booth of the Lane County Farmers Market or at Eugene Local Foods.
Ayers Creek Farm (Gaston, OR) grows a variety of Italian heirloom beans and grains. Buy their beans and grains at the Hillsdale Farmer’s Market.
Azure Standard (Dufur, OR) is an online marketplace of a wide variety of locally and regionally grown goods. They grow some of their own beans and grain and source some within Oregon and Washington. When we spoke with them, they were growing their own kidney beans, small red beans, navy beans and sourced black-eyed peas from a farm in Moses Lake, WA. Contact them for details at the time of purchase.
Bluebird Grain Farm (Winthrop, OR) grows and processes emmer, rye, red wheat, and white wheat. Check out their website to purchase online or to find various retail places that carry their products.
Lentz Spelt (Marlin, WA) grows and processes emmer and spelt. Purchase their products online at eSimplytheBest or Marx Foods.
Oregon Jewel (Southern Willamette Valley, OR) grows wild rice in the Southern Willamette Valley. Their wide rice is available at many Northwest grocery stores including Market of Choice.
Shepherd Grain Farms (Columbia plateau, WA) is a group of wheat farmers that mill several different types of flour. Locally, their flour is distributed by Glory Bee Foods and can be purchased at the Glory Bee store in west Eugene or at a variety of local grocery stores.
Stalford Seed Farms (Talent, OR) has beans and wheat for purchase at the farm. Stalford Seed Farms is the bean and grain arm of American Grass Seed Producers. They grow pinto beans, garbanzos, black beans, red lentils, red wheat, and white wheat. They will have their products available wholesale through Hummingbird Wholesale shortly.
Sunbow Farm (Corvallis, OR) sells their beans and grains direct to consumers or through buying clubs. They grow wheat, oats, rye, quinoa, pinto beans, black beans, fava beans, and garbanzos. Submit inquiries via email on their website.
